Me, Myself & I

Mustafa Horton is an accomplished creative director, senior graphic designer, and abstract realism artist from Denver, Colorado.

He brings 15 years of design leadership experience and has successfully led corporate identity rebranding projects, digital campaigns, and traditional printed collateral for mid-size companies, startups, and non-profit organizations. Furthermore, he worked for companies like IKEA and Cambridge University Press in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region for 7 years, living in Riyadh, KSA, and Dubai, UAE, respectively.

Additionally, he is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of the nonprofit creative studio United Colors of Design (UCD). UCD hosts a periodic speaking series titled “Leadership + Design.” The event highlights some of the most talented and influential creatives from different design disciplines.

Mustafa is also the founder and Creative Director of Dawah Ink, a nonprofit Islamic design studio dedicated to creating distinctive Islamic educational visual arts and offering creative design services free of charge.

In June 2025, he completed his Executive MBA program for design leaders at Future London Academy.
